- Focus/Key Topic:
Additive manufacturing is a hot topic for science as well as industrial applications. At the AVT.CVT we use polyjet printers (comparable to inkjet) to fabricate our experimental setup. Polyjet printers can fabricate complex geometry’s by placing droplets containing monomers onto a surface in a layer by layer manner. Thereby additive manufacturing methods overcome the limitations of classical shaping processes such as casting.
In this thesis polyet printer should be used to realize an experimental set up for the analysis of membrane bulging with optical devices.
