CO2 reduction to bulk chemicals presents a promising synthetic route to utilize the greenhouse gas CO2. The challenges for an economical process rely in the manufacturing process. At the Chair of Chemical Process Engineering, we have built up a versatile expertise in the field of the production of electrodes. With you, we want to develop the next generation of electrodes to start the next generation of sustainable electrochemical processes. We would like to work with you on the following work packages:

  • Production of electrodes
  • Investigation of electrochemical effects
  • Characterizing the morphology of electrodes
  • Embedding the electrochemical process
