Fluidics and Reactor Design (FRD)
The Fluidics and Reactor Design (FRD) group focusses on the influence of controlled flow fields on the performance of membrane and (electro-)chemical processes and reactors. We aim to significantly improve existing processes by a reduction of boundary layers and application of effective mixing.
In our group we use the following methods and tools:
- 3D printing
- Structured surfaces
- Passive mixing
In order to evaluate and further improve our concepts, both experimental and model based methods are used and best-practice methods are applied.
